We are looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer on a 12-month contract to design, build and support cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. This is a Hybrid role and the successful candidate will be based in Durban.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and support Azure infrastructure and services.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate cloud operations.

• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud environments.

• Implement security, governance and backup strategies.

• Work closely with development and business teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Key Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in IT/Cloud Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Azure certifications (Administrator, Solutions Architect, DevOps).

• Experience with containers and hybrid cloud environments.
