Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our Agile delivery team. This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates who have some understanding of Agile practices and are eager to grow into a leadership position within scaled Agile environments. This role is perfect for someone looking to start their career as an RTE while gaining hands-on experience in scaled Agile delivery.

You will be supported by experienced RTEs and Agile coaches as you learn to:

  • Coordinate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and program-level activities.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies such as PI planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Track dependencies, risks, and impediments across teams.
  • Support Scrum Masters and Product Owners to ensure teams deliver on commitments.
  • Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Maintain project tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies.
  • Track dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple teams.
  • Support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other team members to ensure delivery of features.
  • Maintain and update project tracking tools and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Learn and grow under guidance from experienced RTEs and Agile coaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Rally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Desirable / Nice-to-Have:

  • Agile certification (Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist, Agile Practitioner).
  • Exposure to software development or IT projects.
  • Experience in facilitation, coordination, or team leadership.
