Job Description

Our client in the Banking Industry is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team!

Key skills and responsibilities:
  • Understanding of stakeholder perspectives in order to produce a more holistic and systems orientated analysis.
  • Experienced in Digital and Mobile related projects.
  • User Experience (UX) Design - basic understanding of UX principles to ensure that digital and mobile solutions are user-friendly and meet the needs of the end-users.
  • Jira and Confluence experience.
  • Conduct detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for not only the business but all stakeholders involved.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Project Managers, to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements/user stories.
  • Knowledge and experience on how to write user stories and acceptance criteria utilizing the GHERKIN syntax.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles.
  • Provide expert advice and support to business units on business analysis best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal qualification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent).
  • Over 4 years of solid experience in business analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Extensive experience with SAFe and AGILE methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and software, including Jira and Confluence.
  • 3-5 years Mobile and Digital experience non-negotiable.
