Job Purpose:
We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual to join our client's team as a Support Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong data handling and reconciliation skills, SQL proficiency and a good understanding of business processes and basic finance knowledge. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting business-as-usual (BAU) operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of data and process-related activities within the Costing and Allocations area.
This is a hybrid work role, where the successful candidate will be required to be present in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. This is a Contract role from 1 March to 30 November 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret data to support operational processes (including server security and vulnerability reports, daily and monthly operational reports).
- Develop and run SQL queries to extract and analyse data during operational processing.
- Perform regular data reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
- Run daily BI reports.
- Document business/system processes as required to ensure maintenance of system and process documentation.
- Provide BAU support, including issue resolution, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Assist with creation of reports and dashboards using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Assist with functional testing where required to verify enhancements and changes to existing solutions.
- Assist with tracking of month-end and other operational deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in SQL and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of business processes.
- Experience with data reconciliation and validation.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Basic knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to support BAU operations and respond to ad hoc requests.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP or financial systems.
